How to Clean Your Blundstone
Another thing you need to know is how to clean your Blundstone boot without affecting its durability. For the Blunnies with leather upper, these are the steps you must take to clean up your boot;
Step 1: Clean off dirt
First, you remove dirt from the boot with a clean rag, microfiber towel, or horsehair brush before applying any leather conditioner. Don’t use water on the leather, but on the rubber sole if you have to.
Step 2: Apply conditioner
After removing all the dirt in your boot, apply a leather conditioner like Venetian leather balm. Unlike mink oil, it doesn’t darken the color of your boot but leaves it flexible and supple.
Spread it evenly on your boot with either your hand or rag and leave it for 10 minutes to enable it to penetrate fully into the leather pores.
Step 3: Brush the boots
Brush the boot with a horsehair brush going back and forth to level the leather conditioner you applied. Your Blundstone boot is ready to be worn clean and set.

How to Clean Blundstone Boots with Saddle Soap
If your boot is covered with mud or sand, you can use saddle soap after you must have removed as much dirt as you can.
Step 1: Get your soap and material ready
You first open the lid of the saddle soap tin and fill it with warm water.
Step 2: Apply the soap to the spots
Soak a small horsehair brush or dauber brush in water to make it wet. Then swirl it in the saddle soap tin to generate soap lather and apply it to the boot.
Step 3: Scrub gently to clean
Scrub the boot in a circular motion till it is ridden of the dirt.
Step 4: Clean off the lather and dry
After that, use a dry rag to clean off the soap lather, and allow your boot to dry for about 6 to 12 hours. Avoid using a hair dryer to speed up the drying process, as it may damage the leather.
